I know this is probably only relevant for those based in Germany (hi!), but since a few of you have asked how I order stuff from Vinted Italy and France without actually being there, I thought I’d share this little note.
So, Vinted Germany now only works within Germany, which means I can’t order from Vinted France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and so on. This makes me consider moving! But before I pack my bags, I had to find a solution. Sometimes, I’d ask friends in other EU countries to buy stuff for me and ship it, but I really don’t like asking for favors — so I pretty much never do. If that’s an option for you, go for it!
First things first: from Germany, I can only access and browse Vinted Germany. But if you use the Opera browser, you can access Vinted EU! That’s my first little hack.
I registered on Vinted France using the Opera browser, but they needed my address. This is where ColisExpat comes in. This service is a lifesaver for international shopping (and not just for Vinted); it lets you receive parcels from various countries — even if those retailers won’t ship directly to you. You sign up, and they give you an address (in my case in France) to use.
So then you order, and then ColisExpat receives your fabulous €5 cashmere sweater from Vinted Italy/France and forwards it to you in Germany. The shipping cost varies, I paid €8! Totally worth it for a chic sweater, also it’s all quite quick.
Bottom line: I love ColisExpat (but I still want to move)! This is how I get my €5 bags and sweaters. Remember when I told you about those? It feels a bit boring to link to my own stuff, but trust me: I’ve gotten some amazing deals from Vinted in France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal (I am not sure about other European countries, you’ll need to check).
Hope this info is useful to at least three people!
I've been trying to not buy anything new for about a year --- big fan of secondhand shopping, been using some fun tools to make it easier like the chrome extension that finds me resale alternatives for the items I'm looking at as I shop bit.ly/Phia

Does this only work for Europe? What about ordering from Australia?
looks like it's worldwide! https://www.colisexpat.com/en/list-of-countries/
Thanks! This is exactly what I was looking for!
Awesome! Because there’s a ring I want and they don’t ship to the US.
wahoo! from where?
